    The annual car test ("test") in Israel, explained

    Every car in Israel must pass an annual licensing test at a Ministry of Transport licensed testing station (מכון רישוי) to renew its registration. D.Z Multitest is a garage, not a testing station: we inspect the car before the test and fix whatever would fail it - brakes, lights, emissions, suspension and leaks - so you pass the first time. Good to know: the vehicle license fee is paid separately, and it has to be paid before you go to the test.

    Buying a used car? Have it inspected first

    Many students, new immigrants and families in Beer Sheva buy their first car in Israel second-hand.     Can you prepare my car for the annual test?

    Yes. We inspect everything the testing station checks, fix what is needed and make sure the car is ready, so you avoid a failed test and a second visit.

    How much does an inspection cost?

    A computer diagnostic costs 100-250 NIS and a pre-purchase inspection 250-450 NIS, depending on the vehicle. For any repair you get a quote before we start working.

    Do you service electric cars?

    Yes. We service electric, plug-in hybrid and hybrid cars of all brands, including BYD, Tesla, MG, Geely, Hyundai, Kia and Toyota.

    Do I need an appointment?

    We recommend booking by phone or WhatsApp to avoid waiting. For urgent problems you can come in during opening hours.
